This tale of rock'n'roll, rebellion and smuggled literature follows a decade in the life of OndÅ™ej and his dissident family who survive prison, family break up and raids from the StB.

Meanwhile OndÅ™ej takes part in the youth movements which culminate in the Velvet Revolution of 1989. So much for the sweeping backdrop of history; OndÅ™ej has more pressing problems, like dodging conscription and getting over the girlfriend who has dumped him.
