Delightful stuff, made me laugh out loud plenty, but the serious stuff got to me too, enjoyed it
Drew says on - 18 March 2009Marchbold's cast of witty and woe-be-gone Geordie characters speak directly to us with great sass and humour. The various voices of these characters are so vivid, it seems as if one might be eavesdropping on them from the next room-- and that any minute one might have to bang on the wall and tell them to "keep it down" Marchbold's 'snapshots' are keenly observed, tough and tender, as well as very funny, and moving.
